On Monday, the Yale Refugee Project held a panel on the emerging refugee studies field, the refugee regime (specifically, how it comes into contact with America and New haven), the life of a refugee in New Haven, and the life of those excluded from refugee status -- children and families seeking asylum from Central American gang violence.

Thank you to our panelists, Yale University lecturer Quan Tran, co-founder and future project director of the Asylum Seeker Advocacy Project Conchita Cruz, Ingrated Refugee and Immigrant Services Early Employment Specialist Stephen Johnson, and local Iraqi Refugee and Artist Maher Shakir.

Thank you to all that attended. We always appreciate your support and your engagement. Thank you.
